I was once invited over to the house of a cookbook author to take photos of her food for an article in a local magazine. The house was located in the middle of farms and vineyards about 45 min out of Vancouver. It was a neat experience. This woman's food looked amazing and her kitchen was larger than most industrial kitchens. She knew what she was doing. But alas, as my time there was limited, I was not allowed to stay to eat anything.
So moral of the story, always eat before shooting food photography. Lol.
