Cebu City is about to be filled with an estimated of 3 million people in a few days because of Sinulog 2018. I remember when I got stuck in the middle of the crowd looking for some place to eat during Sinulog but couldn't find any vacant seats in any restaurants, fast food stores or even "pungko-pungko". (kay daghan kayg taw bes! hahaha)
So, if you plan to go dinner with your family or friends during the festival, I would recommend you to go to KAYU: Kitchen + Bar. This place is very cozy, decent and peaceful.
How to get there?
(From Ayala Mall - 12 mins drive or taxi cab) If you wanna take the jeepney, go to the PUJ Terminal and take the 04M jeepney to JY Square Mall.
(From IT Park - 20 mins drive or taxi cab) For jeepney lovers, take 04L jeepney outside IT Park or 17B inside IT Park bound to JY Square Mall.
When you reach JY Square Mall, there are motorcycles around. Ask the drivers to bring you to Kayu: Kitchen + Bar.

(kani maoy pinaka-mudaog sa tanan mga bes, kay mag-aso aso gyud sya ig-served kay sizzling baya ha -ang2 man sad. hahahahaah!)
In all seriousness, the restaurant's service is truly exceptional. They treat all their guests the most important ones. I am greatly surprised by the quality of their food, the presentation, the place itself, the music and everything. Definitely, a perfect place to recommend. :)
