Seaweeds or sea vegetable can be seen and take freshly from the sea. These sea veggies are essential to our health, it is rich in Iodine that helps regulate the thyroid.Rich in minerals like calcium, magnesium and Vit E that maintain healthy skin.It has antioxidants that lower the risk of colon cancer.
Seaweed Salad Mix sea veggie wakame, caulerpa lentillifera (lato) and arame seaweeds. This is just a simple and easy recipe, just boiled water and place these sea veggies just 2 to 3 minutes. Add tomatoes onion and squeezed Lemon then serve.
This is called Caulerpa lentillifera, in the Philippines, it is called as latô or gusô. This is one of my favorite seaweeds, this can be eaten raw with vinegar, its has a good taste especially when its fresh.This can be seen and sold in the market by the fish vendors.
