What is food technology in pharmacy

The food technology is derived from two words first is ''food science and second is food engineering''.
Food technology is defined as the use of science in improving production, packaging, growing, harvesting, distribution, storage.

BRANCH OF FOOD TECHNOLOGY
Involve many branches:

1. FOOD CHEMISTRY:
   In the food chemistry include chemical composition and also use chemical structure and also use chemical reaction.
   

2. FOOD ANALYSIS:
   In the food analysis involve qualitative and quantitative analysis test of food.

3. FOOD MICROBIOLOGY:
   In the food microbiology involve test of microbes present in the foods.

4. FOOD PROCESSING:
   In the food processing transfer raw material to food.

5. FOOD ENGEENIRING:
   In the food engeeniring involve procedure of drying and freezing of foods.
