Today's been a good day been making more space that can be used to grow food on. The radishes are growing quick the cucumbers are looking comfortable after being planted and I'm just taking a siesta.
I was waiting outside for the dogs to be delivered but I hope I don't have to go out in the hottest part of the day and Walk far to get them. This is what I started on this morning, a place where pumpkins and courgettes can be planted, they will proberbly want alot of space as usual! Theres so many courgette seeds that are already in germination it will be epic.
Whilst pulling up grass roots I snapped the wooden handle shovel! Seems to happen often when I use wooden handled tools 😕I had forgotten how stoney the floor is, and was thinking they would be no more ground left after all the stones were taken out haha!
with the right tool this time!
The sun got too hot for me, Im useless in the sun, and at 10.30 I was melting! I went to see how the Nispora tree was liking its new home, and came across more avos that had been attacked by the rats. They must be big bastards if they are eating so much!
This one was actually still hanging on the tree!
... And clear to see this fresh avo stone, must have been the remains from the midnute feast.
I just noticed that the broccoli seeds we germinated and planted are already showing green leaf's!
Hopefully we can get straw bales here soon, and it wont be too late to start them off. If not they will be ready for whoever is here next year so the work is never wasted!
