I guess I'm supposed to ask why we're having this prompt today. I wouldn't have thought to question it, but I suppose I'll ask him when he comes over for mead tomorrow. I have a callback at 4:25, but that should still leave plenty of time to get home in time for him to come over from...Europe? I want to say some country with a Slavic language, but I can't be sure. I hope he's not offended that I am doubting myself about things I think I know. Oh! I do know. I've seen the #teamslovenia on his posts, so that must be why I had that in my head. Yes. Yes. I do know. We just haven't spoken in HIS language natively, so... though maybe that's an assumption. Maybe he moved to Slovenia, but grew up speaking English... or maybe, after doing all the math, he discovered that the best hashtag is that one. I see a lot of
, too.
Funny. I don't know that I would ever use #teamusa... I mean, it just seems so Olympian. Also, I'm all about breaking down our borders... not that we shouldn't be proud of where we come from... but... should we? Should we? I mean, being proud of people that are around us makes sense, but what is patriotism except a way to artificially separate the workers of the world and allow the capitalists to continue controlling us.
Not that I mean to make anyone feel bad for using whatever tag they think is right. And it makes sense to want to connect to people that are local to you. Maybe the real problem is that the usa is so big that you might as well be in another country if you live on the other coast... or even a state away, depending on the state... maybe Team California? Or even Team SoCal? That might make sense. I would like to connect with other Steemians in my area.
A kiss? Ph! O! I've decided that my child will have gotten a million kisses by the time he's 1. That's just 5 minutes of kissing from each of us daily. I timed my kisses. I can do about five a second.
