This fruit is common to Yorubas In South-west Nigeria and is an African cherry that is akin to an orange fig. if you look at it, it has an orange skin with seeds and deep orange pulp. Tasting the fruit is very sweet only when its ripe but when is unripe it is tarty.
The season of this fruit is during harmattan season, November to early January.
