Here's a bit of dehydrating I've been doing.
This is a basic sweet potato slice combined with a banana slice. Once dry it makes a nice dense sweet tasting snack.
I also had some mangos on hand and decided to make some plain ones and some cayenne ones.
My fancy dehydrator was able to get them to chip consistency in around 8 hours at 150 degrees.
This is what the sweet potato banana chips look like.
And the mangos. It is good to have dried provisions on hand just in case you can't get to the store for a long time.
Now for a random slug I found while mushroom hunting yesterday. I wonder if these guys are good protein when dehydrated lol. Happy #fruitandveggiesmonday
