More or less we like fruits. And i guess very few people will dislike pomegranate ; and pomegranate among some fruits which name have come in the Holy Quran. pomegranates name mentioned in Holy Quran several times. As Allah mentioned its name in His holy book, so He kept many benefits inside it for human being.
Almighty Allah says in Holy Quran,
He it is Who produceth gardens trellised and untrellised, and the date-palm, and crops of divers flavour, and the olive and the pomegranate, like and unlike. Eat ye of the fruit thereof when it fruiteth, and pay the due thereof upon the harvest day, and be not prodigal. Lo! Allah loveth not the prodigals.
Sura Anam - Ayat 141
In sura Ar -Rahman, Allah says,
In both of them are fruit and palm trees and pomegranates. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?”
(Surah Ar-Rahman, , Ayats 68-69)
Prophet Hazrat Muhhamad (peace be upon him),
There is not a pomegranate which does not have apip from one of the pomegranates of the Garden (of Jannah) in it.”
