It's that time of year when our gardens are in full swing. Since we've had a lot of rain lately and quite high temperatures, the plants are growing like crazy!
And among all this lush greenery, we can find pops of colour, fruits and veggies that are already fully ripe...
My favorite are the red ones, that's why i've decided to share them with you...
STRAWBERRIES: not only are they super healthy, their fragrance and taste are hard to beat.
The perfect example of that is the wild, forrest strawberry. Tiny, compared to the garden one, but a flavour bomb!
RADISHES: always remind me of little jewels. Crunchy in texture and mustardy in flavour, radishes are perfect for salads! If you've never tried them roasted, give it a go - they taste very similar to brussel sprouts.
SWISS CHARD- this is a red variety. I just love chard in simple soups and stews. Rich in iron, this versatile veggie can be used the same as spinach.
If you have a garden, I wish you a bountyful season. If not, do your best to support local farmers and enjoy their wonderful produce on offer.
Thanks to for her effort and wonderfully inspiring blog!
