I finally was able to transfer my cilantro plant into a mason jar which I will just keep close to the AeroGarden lights for continued growth. I might put it on my window sill in the kitchen so my wife can just grab herbs when she needs them but haven't decided yet. Not sure if the plant will get enough light through the window.
I still have two cayenne pepper plants growing but the one seems to be growing much faster than the other. The big one as you can see is starting to flower and grow peppers which is very exciting.
I plan on planting new vegetables in the open spots available. Bought this salsa garden kit which includes tomato and regular peppers. It would be nice to make my own salsa at the end of the winter before i start my big outside garden.
The AeroGarden is amazing for people who want to get their garden bug fix throughout the winter. You can't grow a ton of plants but what you can grow can be very useful. I was also thinking about buying a second AeroGarden for next winter to have one grow herbs and the other vegetables. I will give an update on the new seeds I'm planting and the cayenne peppers progress hopefully soon.
