Here is my version of a passive hydroponic set up for growing greens and herbs inside. It is very easy and there is very little cost or maintenance. I came up with this design about a year ago and since have grown many different greens in them. Kale, Mustardgreens, Basil, Lettuce and Poc Choi have all done well. I have some Kale that has been in the pipe about 8 months and is still doing very well. You can make one yourself or get one from me here https://www.etsy.com/listing/614711110/hydroponic-grow-greens-pipe-planter-kit? The pipe is about 30 inches long and features 8 plant sites. It is based on the Kratky method of hydroponics and is a passive type of hydroponics. No electric is needed unless you need to supplement the lighting. It comes with everything you need to get started except seeds. It comes with the pipe, a small germination container with clay pebbles and a small container of hydroponic fertilizer. It also has instructions. The grow pipe will work well for most greens and some herbs like basil. The pipe is about 30 inches long and features 8 plant sites. It is based on the Kratky method of hydroponics and is a passive type of hydroponics. Please feel free to make your own but respect my growpipe copyright 2018 on the grow pipe and do not re sell them!
