It was a gorgeous morning, so that was the main reason for us to go today.
Before we decided to go, I checked the website to check for the prices and what fruits we can pick.
The website said it is the last week to pick strawberries and the raspberries will be ready to start picking next week.
This was the first time for me and Jordan to pick fresh fruit from the BC farms, since the last time I picked strawberries from a farm was when I was around 10 years old or younger, in Poland. That was actually my first job, which was a summer job and I really enjoyed it, since I love gardening and the outdoors.
When we got to Surrey Farms, I was surprised that we can pick Raspberries, but I was so excited since I love raspberries even more than strawberries and they are pretty hard to buy at the stores throughout the year.
We had to purchase containers since you could not bring your own because of the Covid-19.
You can choose the size of the containers from a bucket that holds a capacity of about 8 lbs or a flat or quart containers.
First, we picked some strawberries and then we went to pick some raspberries.
Once we got to the raspberries, I was a bit confused that the raspberries were not ready yet, without realizing that behind these raspberry fields there were even more raspberry fields, where we got to pick some beautiful and delicious raspberries.
We had a great time picking the fresh fruit in the hot, sunny weather, which was perfect.
Hope you enjoyed the video and wish you all a wonderful weekend everyone.
God Bless!
