Come join me on a walk as I do my daily chores.
Learn what we do here while following me around the farm.
Grapes
Roosters And Hens
First one's up every morning are the hens and roosters. They're ready to be let out of the hen house and start their day.
We feed them a little grain to give them an energy boost for chasing grasshoppers, digging and weeding under the trees. Then we give them fresh water every day.
We collect today's fresh eggs for breakfast.
The Rabbits
Then we feed and water the rabbits.
The Goats
Then we move on to the goats.
Momma and her two kids.
Farm Breakfast
Once all the animals are fed, it's our turn. Fresh from the farm breakfasts are the best. Most of the food is picked the same morning as we're feeding the animals.
Potatoes, garlic, parsley and eggs. All from the farm.
Quince jam. Grown and made on the farm.
Apples grown, picked and just pressed.
A couple of cups of this fresh, pressed apple juice and a cup of french pressed coffee gives us plenty of energy in the morning.
Cat caught some breakfast too. Wild rabbit.
Watering The Propagation House
Then we water the propagation house. Got to keep those seedlings thriving.
Here Come The Customers
Soon, people start arriving to the farm to pick what's in season. Right now it's apples and grapes. We're very thankful for our happy customers.
People Checking Out

Delicious apples, cleaned and ready for pressing.
Grapes on the vine are the best sugar rush.
This is my favorite time to connect with people and educate them about the process of growing food.
Harvesting Seed
Then we harvest seed for next year.
These are red runner beans, but I call them magic beans. I love to see the looks on kids faces when I tell them they're magic beans. They always ask me if I got them from Jack.
Canning
Storing food for the winter is work, but well worth it.
