BEHOLD, THE REDDENING!
The pepper bush is getting to that point where the older peppers are starting to turn red. Some have already made the change and were ready for picking today.
A certain digital artist with a home garden is having fresh salsa today. :-)
Here's a whole row of them, soaking up the sun.
Here's a clear shot of the whole bush.
(That sounded bad, sorry guys!)
It looks ready!
Here is a casualty.
It was at the bottom of the bush and was partially resting on the ground and It was munched on. I wonder how that tastes to the bugs that ate it?
Next to the zucchini plants we looked at previously, are the tomato vines.
Looking back to when I planted things, I would have done this garden a bit different.
Spaced out more, some tomato cages too maybe.
But since I am leaving this garden behind soon, I'm not going to put too much more effort in other than the feeding, pruning and picking.
I'm happy for learning some new things about growing, but sad that I have to leave the garden when I move away.
Oh yeah, did you all remember that I have a Fig tree here?
I'll have to take some figs with me.
There's also a nice big Lime tree too.
I guess that why this household has always been a fan of Corona beer. We already have our own limes!
I'll have to take some limes with me too.
I may try to grow new plants from the seeds after I move and learn all I can about these sorts of trees.
Another tree here is this Pomegranate tree. I'm taking some of these too, and I'm definitely going to try growing this later!
Soon they will be that nice reddish color!
That about covers all my updates from the garden this week. I will try to do more updates before I actually move so that you can see what happens with all these plants that have been sharing their little plant stories on Hive.
