This picture was taken last week in the Golan Heights in Israel after a visit to pelter winery.
A small and a boutique winery that until 2005 operated from a private home in Moshav Tzofit. The wine is produced at one of the highest points in Israel, 1000 meters above sea level, volcanic tuff and large temperature differences overnight makes Ideal conditions for slow and long ripening of grapes.
This is the second time that my wife and I have travel on Saturday to sit down and relax, a cheese platte and tastings of wine at a funny price of $ 15 for both of us
Really good wine, funny price and amazing views all the way over there , highly recommend.
On the ride back, we saw this wonderful sky and i had to stop and take a photo (especially because I had to pee, Lots of wine and a little bladder)
:-)
