This avocado dip makes a perfect party food, a snack and appetizer. The traditional recipe is very simple and you only need a few ingredients. One of the best things about it is that you can customize it to your taste and heat level.
In my recipe I use serrano chilies, which are a little spicy, but if you'd like a milder guacamole you can use jalapeno peppers -- and to make them even less spicy, simply remove the seeds and membrane from the inside.
One problem people have when making guacamole is that it goes brown and doesn't look very appetizing. To fix that simply leave the avocado pit in the guacamole. Also the lime juice prevents the discoloration so don't skip that!
