Nutrient density is a measure of how healthy a food actually is when consumed. The purpose of eating food besides the joy of eating if you're into that, is the nutrition gained from consumption. Kale ranks #1 as the most nutrient dense which means for the calories you get the most nutrition. If an individual decides to do caloric restriction, or fasting, or just would like to go for disease prevention, then nutrient density matters.
How do you consume Kale? Well there is Kale powder and there is Kale in whole form. Using a juicer you can turn the Kale into Kale juice to get the nutrients in the best form. Kale powder also works and can be mixed but the Kale powders are not all equal. Some could say Spirulina ranks slightly higher but the bioavailability of Spirulina is questionable.
