The healthiest pasta ever:
Zucchini noodles (also known as “zoodles“).
Compared to regular pasta, zucchini pasta offers:
-Much less calories : one big cup of zoodles has only about 30–40 calories;
-A lot fewer carbs: have about five net grams of carbs per one-cup serving.
-More vitamins and minerals: Zoodles provide a good dose of nutrients like vitamin A, vitamin C, B vitamins, potassium and a good amount of fiber in every cup.
-No gluten (gluten-free): For anyone following a gluten-free diet, the Paleo diet or just a low-carb diet, zoodles can be a lifesaver.
Recipe of pesto zoodles:
You can create your zucchini pasta with the spiralizer: use about 1 medium, washed zucchini.
Make pesto sauce: blend 3 tbsp of pine nuts, bunch of basil 🌿 , 2 tbsp of lemon 🍋 fresh juice, 2-3 tbsp of olive oil, 1-2 tbsp nutritional yeast
Use a nonstick skillet with a tablespoon of olive oil, coconut oil or ghee butter (recipe posted earlier) on medium-high heat and then stir-fry 2 cloves of garlic, warm up the zoodles for 2 minutes only for best results to avoid sogginess. Add the pesto sauce.
And your zoodles are ready 🍝
You could even add your choice of protein to it, like grilled chicken 🐓 , fish 🐟 or shrimps 🦐.
