Living a healthy life is hard when everywhere you turn there is an easy and convenient place to grab a bite to eat.
However, our society is becoming more and more obese with each passing day. The rate of childhood obesity has steadily increased from 5% to 12.4% with no signs of stopping. But what can we do about it? We have to eat in order to survive and it's not always plausible to plan out and sit down for each meal.That's where snacks come in. Snacks are a quick and easy way to fuel the body on the go. Snacks can also be a huge problem if we are not picking the right fuel for our bodies. We need Healthy Fuel!

GoGo Squeez Apple Sauce on the Go
These come in an easy to grab and go pouch and come in a variety of apple sauce combinations like pick 5 which is packed with 5 different fruits for only 60 calories. You can find these at Wholes Food, Target or even CVS.
Chia Bars
Chia is a magicalseed. It expands 11x its original size to keep you feeling full for longer. Chia is also considered a superfood packed with fiber. You can pick up these chia bars at Whole Foods.
Fresh Fruit
I keep a ton of fresh fruit in my house! Not only is it easy to grab an apple or banana as you run out the door, fruit is a natural sweet treat! There are so many options of fruit that you will never be bored at snack time.
