Well, another semi-successful month of weight loss. I'm not exactly jumping around for joy, but it's another month without any weight gains and I did lose a few pounds.
My goal for November was to get anywhere in the 240s. Last month I was at 254.4 lbs and this month I fell just short of my actual goal of getting in the 240s. I weighed in this month at 250.4 lbs. I missed my goal by .4 lbs. That was a little bit of a bummer man. However, I haven't gained any weight in roughly 8 months. Eight months of straight losses are cause for celebration.
So, each month I hit a goal, I've been buying something special for myself. This month was no different although technically, .4 lbs short is still short. I was pretty confident I'd hit my goal, so I went ahead and ordered a new guitar. Had I not already ordered it, I would have waited until next month. Regardless, it arrived, I love it, and I'm not sending it back!
The next couple of months are going to be tough. The holidays are here! My main goal for the next two months is very simple! DO NOT GAIN ANY WEIGHT!
I'm going to set a loose goal of getting and staying in the 240s for November. Thanksgiving is just around the corner and in the next couple of weeks, the house will begin to fill with all kinds of delicious food and goodies. Staying anywhere in the 240s will be an achievement.
I've already set a goal for 2023 to get below 200lbs. I'd like to achieve this by spring. Well have to see how things go, regardless, by the end of 2023, I want to be under 200lbs.
I'll settle for ending up anywhere in the 240s by the first of the new year. I mean let's face it, November and December are probably the two worst months for weight loss. On top of that, I love the holiday season. It's all about food, drink, and celebration. I'm not even going to kid myself or try to set outrageous goals that I know I won't hit.
My goal for the next two months will be to stay in the 240s and not gain any weight. I'd like to be in the 240s by Thanksgiving. I think I can manage half a pound or .4 of a pound. Not even a half pound. Then, all I have to do is stay in the 240s by January 1st. So I need to get myself in the low 240s to make up for any holiday weight gain.
I'll end this with an autumn photo. Hope you all had a wonderful Halloween/Samhain.
