It's been one of those weeks again in Silver Mamma Chef's Kitchen.
I think she lost one of her bearings, since her best friend and helper, Miele, lost hers a month or two ago and can't seem to find a replacement.
As Silver Mamma Chef explained in one of her previous posts, Miele's predicament of "giving up the ghost" and is still out of action at the moment, leaving Silver Mamma Chef frustrated with Mss Broom and Co who's not puling her weight at all.
Yip!...Silver Mamma Chef lost a few marbles the last time...this time...it's her bearings Lol.
I just hope she doesn't loose some nuts and bolts in the near future....that would be a catastrophe for sure.
Well!...to cut a long story short...Silver Mamma Chef has been trying to do a "Sandwich" post for a few days now, since told her
has rekindled his sandwich community, she was thrilled, as sandwiches are one of her quick lunch time fixes for those busy days.
So!...after peeping at all those delicious and awesome sarmies (sandwiches) in "SANDWICH Community" feeling slightly intimidated by the excellent posts, she decided to give her sixpence worth and pull out all the stops and post her humble lunch time sandwich.

Minced Beef Patty on Homemade bread
Ingredients
- Lettuce, tomato, green pepper, cheese and a sweet and sour sauce, a dash of mustard, and of course the beef patty.
Silver Mamma Chef made her own patties from minced beef, with some chopped onions and bread crumbs, seasoning and one egg to bind it all together.
A visit to the local green grocers for the ingredients was done by Papa Chef, he's very good at shopping and finding the best fresh produce, especially bargains. Lol!
Nice size patties fried in pan until golden brown, then set aside while all ingredients were put together to make a delicious sandwich.
Freshly baked bread straight from the oven, with wholesome ingredients to satisfy those hunger pangs.
Silver Mamma Chef made her favorite sweet and sour sauce, using Mrs Balls Chutney and Double cream Greek Yogurt for the topping on the sandwich, it was divine.
A little mint and chili to add some spice...if you like a bit of heat, that is...it's your choice...Silver Mamma Chef loves her food with a bit of fire in it, Hehe!
Omg!...don't forget the red wine and beer for Papa Chef to wash it all down.
Well!...that was Silver Mamma Chef's lunch on Wednesday..."A Minced Beef patty sandwich" with all sorts added.
Until the next sandwich...have a great weekend, it's almost Friday.
