I will be sharing with you guys another way you can make simple breakfast, lunch or dinner by just using less than 10ingredients.
PLANTAIN PUDDING
Plantain is one good that is highly nutritious and rich in iron and fiber. It’s nutritional value makes it a food that is highly recommended when it comes to taking care of one’s health. I learnt this plantain recipe from a friend. She told me about it when my dad was sick with type 2 diabetes. I only knew the regular way of boiling plantain and serving my dad, probably with stew or egg sauce, but then she taught me this new method, and it has being amazing.
- 2 fingers of unripe plantain
- 2 fingers of over ripe plantain
- crayfish
- pepper
- palm oil
- seasoning
- salt
- plantain leaf
PROCEDURE
wash your plantain, properly and peel.
cut into cubes and place in a blender
Add your pepper, and crayfish and blend also
- take a look at the pudding, I have also added my palm oil, seasoning as well as salt, all to taste.
- Next you begin to wrap using your plantain leaf. You wrap and place it in a pot containing hot water. Look at the outcome below.
- cover with a foil, and allow to cook for 30-40 mins using medium heat.
- once it is ready, there is a change in the color of the leaf.
