Hola amigos, espero que se encuentren muy bien! 😊 Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una experiencia culinaria que es de mis favoritas aunque es la primera vez que hago una reseña de este tipo, pero estoy animada y quiero compartirla con todos ustedes. Este día comenzó cuando mi novio me dijo que para salir a almorzar por ahí y pues yo como no tenía ganas de cocinar ese día, me arregle y salimos a comer comida china que es su favorita. Desde que estábamos en la universidad siempre visitamos está feria de comida dónde vendían un excelente arroz chino y tenían mucha variedad de acompañantes para el arroz, este lugar había cerrado por algunos años por la situación, por la situación que ya todos sabemos 😶 pero este año abrió nuevamente en esta feria de comida y para nuestra sorpresa la atiende el mismo chino jejeje.
Hello friends, I hope you are feeling great! 😊 Today I want to share with you a culinary experience that is one of my favorites although it is the first time I do a review of this type, but I am encouraged and I want to share it with all of you. This day started when my boyfriend told me to go out for lunch out there and well I since I didn't feel like cooking that day, I got dressed up and we went out to eat Chinese food which is his favorite. Since we were in college we always visited this food fair where they sold excellent Chinese rice and had a lot of variety of side dishes for the rice, this place had closed for some years because of the situation, because of the situation that we all know 😶 but this year it opened again in this food fair and to our surprise the same Chinese guy attends it hehehe.
Nosotros estábamos ansiosos por saber si tenían la misma calidad de los años pasados, que eran uno de los mejores de la ciudad o si por el contrario habían bajado de calidad. Así que pedimos los cambos que siempre acostumbramos a pedir allí, mi novio pidió el combo de arroz chino con pollo teriyaki y costillas y yo pedí arroz con pollo teriyaki y lumpia. La verdad es que nos gusta visitar lugares a los que íbamos cuando empezábamos a salir porque nos llena de nostalgia de la buena.
We were anxious to know if they had the same quality of the past years, which were one of the best in town or if on the contrary they had gone down in quality. So we ordered the changes we always use to order there, my boyfriend ordered the combo of Chinese rice with teriyaki chicken and ribs and I ordered rice with teriyaki chicken and lumpia. The truth is that we like to visit places where we used to go when we started dating because it fills us with good nostalgia.
Ya al tener nuestro platos en la mesa, todo se veía igual que siempre, lo primero que hice fue probar el arroz chino y ya allí toda la espectativa que llevaba se vino abajo ☹️ pues el arroz está sobre cocido y no tenía suficientes vegetales allí ya casi perdía todas las esperanzas, hasta que le di una oportunidad ala lumpia, que estaba tan rica como siempre 😊 y si me trastado a los días en que andaba con mi bolso full de libros y íbamos a la feria de comida a comer porque nos servía para distraernos.
Already having our dishes on the table, everything looked the same as always, the first thing I did was to try the Chinese rice and already there all the expectation I was carrying fell apart ☹️ because the rice is overcooked and did not have enough vegetables there I almost lost all hope, until I gave a chance ala lumpia, which was as rich as always 😊 and if I upset me to the days when I walked with my bag full of books and we went to the food fair to eat because it served us to distract us.
El pollo teriyaki y las costillas también estaban super ricas, nos gustaron mucho y si nos hizo recordar buenos tiempos. Ahora no se que les pasó con el arroz chino que eran muy buenos allí, llegamos a pensar que tal vez era el tipo de arroz ya que este se notaba más grande que el que usan para el arroz chino, o que el chino está vez delego a alguien para que hiciera el arroz y no lo reviso antes de salir a la venta, la verdad es que no se que paso. Le daremos otra oportunidad en un futuro sin dudas, porque las costillas, el pollo y las lumpias llenaron las expectativas.
The teriyaki chicken and ribs were also super yummy, we liked them a lot and yes it made us remember good times. Esta fue una tarde llena de buenos recuerdos alrededor de un plato de comida china, que nos llevaron al 2010-2012 cuando la comida china del centro comercial la cascada era lo mejor y habia que esperar turno para pedir la comida.
This was an afternoon full of good memories around a plate of Chinese food, that took us back to 2010-2012 when the Chinese food at the Cascada shopping center was the best and you had to wait a turn to order the food.
