Today i would like to share the recipe of Moong Dal Pakoda, also known as Moong Dal Bhajiya is scrumptious snack, spiced fritters made with yellow moong lentils and some spices, it is serve hot, crisp and delicious in taste, you can serve it with a cup of Tea. It is healthy as it's made from moong dal, and these pakauris don't absorb oil at all. This recipe is quick & easy to made with minimal ingredients which is common in every house kitchen.

Ingredients š
⢠1 cup of Moong Daal.
⢠1 Chopped Onion.
⢠2-3 cloves of Garlic.
⢠2 Green Chilli.
⢠Pinch of Asafoetida.
⢠1/2 tbsp of Red Chilli Powder(optional).
⢠Salt to Taste.

First rinse 1 cup yellow moong dal twice or Thrice times in water.
Tip : If you want to make these pakoras instantly and you don't have soaked lentils, soak the lentils in warm water for 5-7 minutes.
soak the rinsed lentils for atleast 2 hours,
Drain with another fresh water,transfer into grinder,add the cloves & green chilli, make smooth paste.
now in the batter, add asafoetida, red chilli powder, salt and Chopped Onion.
Mix it well, so that everything combined well. No need to ferment the batter. They can be fried immediately.
Heat the oil in the kadhai for frying.
Drop the batter into the hot oil as shown in the picture, repeat the process with remaining batter.
When you add the batter, try not to fill the entire Kadai/pan, as it makes flipping difficult. Now, cook the pakoras on medium heat until they turn golden
Take them out in paper tissue to soak the excess oil.
Serve the Hot Moong Daal Pakoda(fritters) with tomato sauce or Green Chutney, to enhance it flavour better to serve with a cup of Tea.
