Un clásico que nunca falla, no solo por ser una comida llena de sabor, si no por su fácil preparación, cada vez que quiero comer rico y rápido recurro al picadillo, los ingredientes pueden variar, y me refiero a los vegetales que lo acompañan, pero lo que no es negociable es la carne, necesitas carne molida, es por ello que se llama picadillo, normalmente lo acompaño con arroz, y ensalada es mi gusto personal, aunque con carne queda igual de delicioso, en esta ocasión cociné la carne con batata dulce, no es mi primera opción al preparar picadillo, debo reconocer que fueron sabores que combinados hacen buena pareja, la carne bien sazonada y el dulzor natural de la batata, necesitan probarlo.

The ingredients can vary, and I am referring to the vegetables that accompany it, but what is non-negotiable is the meat. You need ground beef, which is why it's called picadillo. I usually serve it with rice and salad, which is my personal preference, although it's just as delicious with meat. This time, I cooked the meat with sweet potatoes, which isn't my first choice when making picadillo, but I must admit that the flavors go well together: the well-seasoned meat and the natural sweetness of the sweet potatoes. El primer paso será corta la batata, retiramos la cáscara y lavamos muy bien, luego procedemos a cortar en pequeños cuadritos, dejan a un lado mientras llevan a calentar el sartén.

Cuando el sartén este caliente añadimos un poco de aceite, luego la carne, condimentamos a gusto, en mi caso agregué orégano, comino, dientes de ajo machacados y pimienta ahumada, debemos sofreír la carne durante unos minutos, para luego incorporar los trozos de batata dulce, colocamos una tapa y dejamos cocinar a fuego bajo, estará listo cuando la batata esté suave.
