¡Saludos mis queridos hivers expertos en cocina!🤗 el día de hoy me provocó pasar por aquí dejando este post para contarles esta experiencia que tuve el fin de semana comiendo algo que tenía rato queriendo probar en Bonsai Sushi.
Les hablo de la hamburguesa de sushi, probablemente muy conocida por muchos en distintas franquicias, que Bonsai muy ingeniosamente decidió denominar: Sushi Burguer 🥹, ya les he comentado en un post que hice hace un par de semanas, que mi sushi favorito lo venden aquí, pero realmente tenía desde hace un tiempo muchas ganas de probar este plato, sin embargo, cada vez que llegaba cambiaba de opinión y optaba por pedir siempre mi Rock and Rolls, y dejaba de lado la opción que tenía en mente "¿Qué les puedo decir?" Me cuesta pedir algo diferente si ya me enamoré de algo con anterioridad en el mismo lugar y más cuando se trata de sushi.
El punto es que este fin de semana me dispuse a ir con mi mamá, que ama el sushi igual que yo, y la convencí de por fin probar la famosa Sushi Burger, así que nos preparamos y nos dispusimos a ir a la sede que está en el Sambil, que es muy bonita, por cierto, pero no tomé suficientes fotos, perdón, aun me da pena esas cosas 🥲.
Cuando llegamos el mesero nos ofreció unos cócteles sin alcohol, yo en verdad solo quería mi té verde de siempre, pero mi mamá sí es más arriesgada y quiso probar uno de Frutos Rojos con el que el mesero la enamoró y pues, esta vez ella me convenció a mí de pedir uno para acompañarla a ella.
Greetings my dear hivers, cooking experts! today provoked me to stop by here leaving this post to tell you about this experience I had over the weekend eating something I had been wanting to try for a while at Bonsai Sushi.
I'm talking about the sushi burger probably well known by many in different franchises, which Bonsai very cleverly decided to call: Sushi Burger, I have already told you in a post I made a couple of weeks ago, that my favorite sushi dish is sold here, but I really had for some time really wanted to try this dish, however, every time I arrived I changed my mind and opted to always order my Rock and Rolls, and left aside the option I had in mind *"What can I tell you? "I find it hard to order something different if I've already fallen in love with something before at the same place and even more so when it comes to sushi.
The point is that this weekend I decided to go with my mom, who loves sushi as much as I do, and I convinced her to finally try the famous Sushi Burger, so we got ready and went to the Sambil location, which is very nice, by the way.
When we arrived the waiter offered us some non-alcoholic cocktails, I really just wanted my usual green tea, but my mom is more risky and wanted to try one of Red Fruits with which the waiter made her fall in love and well, this time she convinced me to order one to go with her.
El mesero nos contó que eran un coctel nuevo y que era "una maravilla" ya saben, típico 😒, cuando nos llegó el cóctel yo solo extrañaba mi té verde, pero lo acepté porque si me gustan los frutos rojos también, le pedí la carta y me trajo la carta original y le pregunté si no tenían promociones y él muy inteligentemente me dijo: "Sí tenemos, ya le traigo esa carta", lo cual me pareció de muy mal gusto tomando en cuenta que te ahorras realmente mucho con las promociones, pero si el cliente no lo sabe, entonces nunca se enterará 😒.
Por otro lado, cuando nos trajo la carta vi que la promoción de 2×1 incluye también unos cócteles, le pregunté que si el cóctel que nos trajo era de la promoción y me dijo descaradamente: "No, ese no entra en la promoción porque es nuevo", le pregunté el precio y me dijo 6$, o sea amigosss ¡6$$$$$ un cóctel sin alcohol! 🤯 honestamente quería matar al mesero (en modo exageración) pero de verdad me indignó bastante, tengo años de años yendo a Bonsai, pero no siempre a las mismas sedes, así que le dije muy educadamente: "Debió haberme ofrecido la opción de los cocteles de la promoción", al final la culpa era de nosotras por no pedir precios primero, lo sé, así que decidí solo dejar eso pasar y pedí las Sushi Burguers, mientras realizaba ejercicios de respiración (Inhalar-Exhalar 💆🏻♀️).
Como estaba con mi mamá me guardé mi rabia y dije mentalmente: "Voy a esperar la hamburguesas que tanto he querido probar y voy a pasarla bien", estuvimos hablando un rato riéndonos, casi llorando 🥹, de los 12$ que acababa de perder en dos cócteles que solo sabían a "Kool Aid" con limón y un montón de azúcar en la parte inferior 🙃, y no les miento, mi mamá sacó cuentas de cuantos cócteles podía sacar con un paquete de frutos rojos, cuántos limones y así, mientras nos reíamos de nuestra desgracia y esperamos las hamburguesas 🥹, dichas hamburguesa se tardaron como 45 minutos y el local no estaba tan lleno, cabe recalcar 🫥.

On the other hand, when he brought us the menu I saw that the 2×1 promotion also includes some cocktails, I asked him if the cocktail he brought us was part of the promotion and he told me shamelessly: "No, that one is not included in the promotion because it is new", I asked him the price and he told me 6$, that is 6$$$$$ a cocktail without alcohol! 🤯 honestly I wanted to kill the waiter (in exaggeration mode) but it really made me quite indignant, I have years of years going to Bonsai, but not always to the same venues, so I told him very politely: "You should have offered me the option of the promotional cocktails", but in the end it was our fault for not asking for prices first, I decided to just let that go and ordered the Sushi Burguers..
Since I was with my mom I kept my anger to myself and said: "I'm going to wait for the burgers I've been wanting to try so much and I'm going to have a good time", we were talking for a while laughing, almost crying 🥹, about the 12$ I had just lost on two cocktails that only tasted like "Kool Aid" with lemon and a bunch of sugar on the bottom 🙃, and I'm not lying to you, my mom did the math of how many cocktails she could get with a pack of red fruits, how many lemons and so.... while we laughed at our misfortune and waited for the burgers 🥹, said burgers took about 45 minutes and the place was not that crowded, it should be noted 🫥.
Como comprenderán mi paciencia se estaba agotando por completo al cabo de los 45 minutos, pero seguía repitiéndome mentalmente que debía disfrutar mi tan anhelada hamburguesa de sushi 🥹 ¡Por fin llegaron las hamburguesas! que, por cierto, si entraban en la promoción, quedaban en 9$ cada una y venían con las salsas para que le pusiéramos lo que quisiéramos de ella en cada ración.
Mi primera impresión es que en realidad son más grandes de lo que pensé y se veían en las promociones, así que está bien pedirlas como sustituto de un plato de sushi, estas hamburguesas, como lo dice la página oficial de Bonsai Sushi, están hechas de: arroz japonés rellenas de pasta dinamita con un toque de picante, aguacate, pepino, salmón empanizado y son temporizadas.
Mi segunda impresión es que en realidad la hamburguesa necesita que proporcionen extra de la salsa "Dragón" y "Anguila", con que se acompañan, porque al ser una especie de "sushi gigante", se pierde el sabor de los ingredientes entre las mordidas, por eso me agradó la idea de que nos pusieran los envases para colocar la cantidad que quisiéramos de ambas salsas, sin embargo, toda la espera siento que sí valió la pena porque la hamburguesa sabiéndola equilibrar bien con ambas salsas ¡queda perfecta! la cantidad es suficiente para una persona, en serio quedamos mi mamá y yo muy satisfecha con nuestras porciones.

By the way, if they were part of the promotion, they were $9 each and came with the sauces so we could add whatever we wanted to our portion at home.
My first impression is that they are actually bigger than I thought and looked in the promotions, so it's okay to order them as a substitute for a plate of sushi, these burgers, as the official website of Bonsai Sushi says, are made of: rice, filled with dynamite pasta with a touch of spicy, avocado, cucumber, breaded salmon and are seasoned.
My second impression is that actually the burger needs to provide extra "Dragon" and "Eel" sauce because being a kind of "giant sushi", the flavor of the ingredients is lost between bites, so I liked the idea that they gave us the containers to place the amount we wanted of both sauces, however, I feel that all the wait was worth it because the burger, knowing how to balance it well with both sauces, is perfect! The quantity is enough for one person, my mom and I were really satisfied with our portions.
Me llamó la atención que no trae casi arroz y yo asumía que sí porque se supone que hace el papel del pan en la hamburguesa, lo cual es un punto extra, ya que la cantidad de ingredientes que trae en el interior sustituye todo ese arroz faltante, sobre todo el salmón es bastante cantidad, siento que si le agregaran un poco más de sabor a la pasta dinamita y al salmón quedaría perfecta, pero, bueno, no está mal colocarla de acuerdo a tu tolerancia o tus gustos con las salsas, así que ¡Bien por ellos y nosotros!
Ah, olvidé contarles que con los cócteles pedimos una ración de croquetas de cangrejo, las cuales siempre pido con mi mamá porque las amamos, pero teníamos tanta rabia con los cócteles, que nos comimos las croquetas y ¡ni foto les tomé! 🥹🥹, si quieren verlas son las mismas de mi post anterior, que pueden ver Aquí 😅, sí, la que viene a hacer una reseña de comida, pero se le olvida tomar las fotos y le da pena tomar las del local, de hecho, la foto de cuando llegaron las hamburguesas ¡también la olvidé! ¡perdón! 🙃 Aun no me acostumbro a esto de postear salidas a comer 🥲.
Espero que les haya servido de algo mi humilde opinión y sepan que aun cuando nos fue mal al principio por culpa del mesero, no de Bonsai, disfrutamos mucho las Sushi Burguers, las cuales he decidido probar en otra de las sedes, para ver si el sabor es igual y si termino de enamorarme de ellas o no, por ahora si me gustaron, pero no me encantaron como para dejar de lado mi Rock and Rolls 😍.

I hope my humble opinion has helped you and know that even when it was bad at the beginning, we really enjoyed the Sushi Burguers, which I have decided to try in another of the Bonsai locations, to see if the taste is the same and if I end up falling in love with them or not, for now I liked them, but I didn't love them enough to leave my Rock and Rolls 😍.
