Se trata de la crema de arvejas, un plato cremoso y lleno de sabor que es perfecto para cualquier ocasión. Además, esta receta tiene un toque ahumado que la hace aún más irresistible y que hará que quieras chuparte los dedos.
La crema de arvejas es un platillo muy popular en mi casa, especialmente los días domingos y/o cuando estamos muy ocupados, preparamos algo ligero pero muy nutritivo ya que las arvejas son una excelente fuente de proteína vegetal, fibra y vitaminas. Además, es una opción muy versátil.

Pea soup is a very popular dish in my house, especially on Sundays and/or when we are very busy, we prepare something light but very nutritious since peas are an excellent source of vegetable protein, fiber and vitamins. It is also a very versatile option.

INGREDIENTES
½ Paquete de Arvejas.
04 Salchichas.
01 Cuchara peq de cúrcuma en polvo.
01 Cuchara Peq de onoto en polvo.
½ Cebolla.
Cebollín, perejil, ajo y cilantro(al gusto).
Sal al gusto.
INGREDIENTS:
½ Package of peas.
04 Sausages.
01 Small spoon of turmeric powder.
01 Peq Spoon of onoto powder.
½ Onion.
Chives, parsley, garlic and cilantro (to taste).
Salt to taste.
PROCEDIMIENTO / PROCEDURE.

The evening before, in a container I pour half a package of peas to be used and soak them in water to remove any air they may have absorbed and to make sure they are soft when cooked.

The next day, I wash the peas three times to remove any impurities they may have. Then, I place them in a pot with enough water to cover them and put them over medium-high heat until they start to boil. At that point, I lower the temperature to normal heat and cook them for about an hour or until they are soft.
It is important to check and test the consistency of the peas from time to time as they cook to make sure they don't run out of water and burn on the bottom of the pot. This also lets you know when they are soft and ready.

While the peas are resting after cooking, I cut the sausages into small squares and fry them in a pot to give a smoky touch to the cream. This step is optional and you can use other ingredients such as chops, smoked bones or sausages, depending on the taste of each person, this time I used sausage.

Once the sausages are browned, I add the seasonings, which in my case include turmeric and onoto powder. These ingredients give a characteristic flavor and color to the pea cream, which makes it even more attractive and delicious.

Finally, after adding the seasonings, I let them cook for a few more minutes so that the flavors integrate well. Then, I add the blended pea mixture to the pot and continue cooking over medium heat until the cream has a smooth and creamy consistency.
As you can see, this recipe is easy to make and uses simple ingredients that can be found in any kitchen.
