Sunday is a day for us to unwind and spend time with our families.
However, my mother received an order for two pastries, known as QQ Cake (Chinese Delicacies) and Chicken Floss Puff Pastry, from a regular customer.
Here I will share you how to make such a simple and easy ingredient to make Chicken Floss Puff Pastry.
CHICKEN FLOSS PUFF PASTRY
INGREDIENT:
- Wheat Flour @ All Purposed Flour
- Salt
- Oil
- Cold Water
- Chicken Floss
STEP BY STEP:
First, combine the flour and salt.
The oil is then heated and poured into the flour mixture.
Using a spatula or wooden spoon, combine the flour and oil.
The texture should be similar to bread crumbs.
Pour in a little cold water at a time until it forms a dough.
Set aside for about 15 minutes to rest.
"This recipe can also be used to make a curry puff. Simply prepare a chicken or meat curry with cubed potato. It is best to mince the chicken or meat."
While waiting, prepared a rolling pin, rolling mat, cutter,a pastry puff mould, and a bowl of chicken floss.
After 15 minutes, cut the dough into small pieces and form small balls on each dough until the dough is finished.
Roll the dough until it is flat and place it on the mould. Using the mould, fold the dough over your filling. Even if you're using a pastry mould, seal the edges as securely as possible.
When everything is done. It is recommended to bake or used an air fryer to bake it for around few minutes.
You can keep it and freeze it for later use, or you can fry it right away. Just like us.
