Hola, hola, amigos comelones. Feliz viernes, iniciamos el fin de semana y con ello la buena comida, jeje. En casa, la pizza NUNCA serĂĄ una mala opciĂłn; ÂĄmis hijos la aman y mi esposo igual! Y aunque yo tambiĂ©n LA AMO, comer harina de trigo Ășltimamente me cae muy mal, asĂ que busquĂ© una opciĂłn para poder disfrutar de mi pizza pero sin sentirme mal, y ademĂĄs con una dosis mayor de proteĂna. Para eso les traigo la receta fĂĄcil de una base de pollo, que ademĂĄs es sĂșper sencilla.

Hello, hello, food-loving friends! Happy Friday! The weekend is starting, and with it comes good food, hehe. At home, pizza is NEVER a bad option; my kids love it, and so does my husband! And even though I LOVE IT too, eating wheat flour has been making me feel unwell lately, so I looked for an option to enjoy my pizza without feeling sick, while also getting a higher dose of protein. For that, Iâm bringing you an easy recipe for a chicken-based crust, which is also super simple.
âINGREDIENTES / INGREDIENTS:
ââïž 200 g de pollo / 200g chicken
ââïž 1 huevo / 1 egg
ââïž Tomate / Tomato
ââïž Cebolla / Onion
ââïž Tocineta / Bacon
ââïž JamĂłn / Ham
ââïž Queso Mozzarella / Mozzarella cheese
âVamos a comenzar haciendo la salsa, y esto no se los fotografiĂ© porque es sĂșper fĂĄcil: metĂ a la licuadora 3 tomates picados, media cebolla y 1 diente de ajo; luego los agregamos a la paila junto a un poco de pasta de tomate, media cucharada de azĂșcar y media de sal. A mĂ me gusta dejar la salsa no tan salada por el resto de los ingredientes.

Weâre going to start by making the sauceâI didn't take photos of this part because itâs so easy. I put 3 chopped tomatoes, half an onion, and 1 garlic clove into the blender; then we add that to the pan along with a bit of tomato paste, half a tablespoon of sugar, and half a tablespoon of salt. I like to keep the sauce not too salty because of the rest of the ingredients.

Luego vamos a picar la mitad del filete de pechuga en cubitos y lo agregamos a la licuadora junto al huevo y un poco de sal para convertirlo en una mezcla suave que serĂĄ nuestra base.
âNext, weâll chop half of the chicken breast fillet into cubes and add it to the blender with the egg and a bit of salt to turn it into a smooth mixture that will be our crust.
âUna vez tengamos la mezcla, vamos a agregarla a una plancha dĂĄndole la forma "redonda" (que, como verĂĄn, yo no logrĂ©, jajaja), pero bueno, lo dejamos cocinar a fuego medio.

Once we have the mixture, weâre going to add it to a griddle, making a "round" shape (which, as youâll see, I didnât quite manage, hahaha), but anyway, we let it cook over medium heat.
âLuego le damos la vuelta y agregamos la salsa y el queso, y tapamos para dejar que se derrita.

Then we flip it over and add the sauce and cheese, and cover it to let it melt.
âPor Ășltimo, agregamos el jamĂłn, la tocineta y unas tiras de pimentĂłn rojo, mĂĄs una pizca de orĂ©gano y salsa por encima. Tapamos nuevamente unos 5 minutos y listo.

Finally, we add the ham, bacon, and some strips of red bell pepper, plus a pinch of oregano and sauce on top. Cover it again for about 5 minutes, and thatâs it!
âAsĂ quedĂł đ. AdemĂĄs de que quedĂł DIVINA, llena muchĂsimo đ€€, asĂ que sin duda es una excelente opciĂłn que harĂ© mĂĄs seguido đ„°.

This is how it turned out đ. Besides tasting DIVINE, itâs very filling đ€€, so itâs definitely an excellent option that Iâll be making more often đ„°.
