Hi bloggers and food lovers! Still on the weekend snacks and sweet treats, this time I’m making something sweet with a hint of sour taste from the yogurt. It’s easy and simple to make, using just oats and chocolate as the base, you can create a sweet snack without needing many ingredients. It’s a fun and refreshing way to enjoy a cold, sweet treat. Alright, let’s get started
Ingredients:
- 100 grams rolled oats
- 1 tbsp honey
- 100 grams dark chocolate compound
- a pinch of salt
- strawberry yogurt
- blueberry yogurt
- parchment paper
Instructions:
- Place the measured rolled oats into a bowl
- Add the honey to the bowl
- Mix the rolled oats and honey until well combined
- Prepare a baking tray and line it with parchment paper, then spread the rolled oat and honey mixture onto the tray
- Bake in the oven at 150°C (302°F) for 1 hour until dry and golden brown
Let cool on the tray, then transfer to a container
Prepare the chocolate compound and place it in a bowl
- Melt the chocolate over boiling water, then add a pinch of salt
- Pour the melted chocolate into a bowl containing the baked rolled oats
- Stir the baked rolled oats and dark chocolate compound until well combined
- Take one spoonful of the chocolate rolled oats and shape it into a circle on a tray and repeat until all the mixture is used up
- Freeze the chocolate rolled oats in the freezer
Once frozen, remove them and add the blueberry and strawberry yogurt filling between two pieces of dark chocolate rolled oat bark
Return them to the freezer to freeze again
- Dark Chocolate Oat Bark with Yogurt Filling is ready to eat
