Welcome to my blog today I want share an amazing recipe. Where I'm from we love fried rice alot it is mostly use in occasions like parties, birthdays, naming ceremonies, events, weddings e.t.c people love it because fried rice is tasty, colourful and is prepared with alot of vegetables that is nutritious and healthy to the body.
There are alot of ways of preparing fried rice but I love this method I'm about to share...
To me this is my favorite I don't joke with it, hubby can testify to it lol😆
For you to prepare it you need alot of vegetables like: carrots, peas, green beans, kidney, yellow peppers, green peppers, sweet corns,red peppers, onions e.t.c and is mostly enjoy with salad.
*Most people feel that making it, is alot of work and spending and is for food of the rich but No. You can actually prepare it with your low budget depending on what you have...is not necessary you must add everything mentioned here for you to prepare it. But there are major ones that is needed to make it, I will be mentioning but few in this blog.
My Ingredients
*Rice
*Carrots
*Green beans
*Onions
*Peppers
*Vegetable oil
*2 Seasoning cube (chicken flavor)
*Chicken or beef
*seasoning for fried rice
*Fresh Tumeric
*Fresh Ginger
*Curry powder
How to prepare
I parboiled my rice, make sure you don't overcook it initially, one have to be very cautious of this. I parboiled mine with my green peas because is hard so I needed it to soften a little bit.
Next I cooked my chicken with seasoning cube, curry powder, onion and salt
Then in an empty pot i fried my chicken then remove the chicken. Fry my chopped onion with the same vegetables oil then i poured in my chicken stock add my seasoning cube, fried rice spice, curry powder and blended tumeric,pepper, ginger... and salt to taste then I covered and allow it to boil for 4minutes
While is boiling put your half cooked rice, stir with the added ingredients taste and adjust with salt if needed.
And Lastly in a frying pan put a little oil and onion then add all the chopped vegetables, carrots, green beans e.t.c with a little seasoning, stir fry then pour into already cooked rice and mix well.
Finally your fried rice is ready!!! 😋
