El 19 de agosto, para conmemorar el Día Internacional de la Fotografía, la biblioteca, en colaboración con el Inder, organizó una actividad especial que incluyó una muestra de fotografías tomadas por el bautense Raysé Coscuyuela.
Su exposición, compuesta por una serie de crónicas visuales, retrata escenas cotidianas de nuestro pueblo en las que se percibe el amor por sus raíces y la curiosidad por los detalles.
Cada imagen tiene una historia, una crónica escrita por él.
Además, se promovió el libro La nostalgia de los pingüinos: Un viaje alrededor del mundo, del fotógrafo austriaco Willy Puchner, quien, durante cuatro años, recorrió el mundo junto a sus pingüinos Joe y Sally, visitando mares y desiertos, así como ciudades como Nueva York, París, Venecia, Roma, Tokio y El Cairo para documentar sus experiencias a través de la fotografía.
Joe mide un metro con 15 centímetros, mientras que Sally mide un metro con 10 centímetros. Sus cuerpos son de resina de poliéster pintados en blanco y negro.
Las orejas, el pico y el pecho están recubiertos con pintura al agua de un tono naranja amarillento. Para trayectos largos, se requiere empaquetarlos en cajas. Por eso, al viajar por aire o mar, la delicada carga se coloca en una especie de ataúdes personalizados, rellenados con espuma y plásticos acolchados, aunque generalmente Joe y Sally viajan en coche o en una mochila.
Es un libro interesante que narra los cuatro años que pasó trasladándose con sus pingüinos a cuestas y donde tuvo la oportunidad de conocer a muchas personas que a menudo se reían o se sorprendían al ver a los pingüinos.
La actividad concluyó con una sesión de ejercicios en la que un grupo de niñas, guiadas por su profesora, mostró que el verano también es un buen momento para practicar deportes.

On August 19, to commemorate International Photography Day, the Library, in collaboration with the INDER, organized a special activity that included a sample of photographs taken by bautense Raysé Coscuyuela.
His exhibition, composed of a series of visual chronicles, portrays everyday scenes of our people in which love for their roots and curiosity for details is perceived.
Each image has a story, a chronicle written by him.
In addition, the book Nostalgia of the penguins was promoted: a trip around the world, by Austrian photographer Willy Puchner, who, for four years, toured the world with his penguins Joe and Sally, visiting seas and deserts, as well as cities like New York, Paris, Venice, Rome, Tokyo and Cairo to document their experiences through photography.
