Resuming Block Signing!
Yesterday, I was about to go to rest when I remembered to check if 
I opened my terminal, accessed the server, and first thing, started the witness service, as I figured it needed to synchronize with the blocks lost during these days. Yes, it needed to do that, but not before setting up a file properly so that changes were reflected smoothly. Due to that simple ordering error, we lost one more block (now at 9). However, while synchronizing with the blockchain, as it stopped at block 89456554 and needed to reach 89688000, I configured the rest. After synchronizing, which took about 40 minutes, I signed the witness validation for the blockchain to consider it, and from there, only waiting remained.
I spent another 40 minutes just watching to see if I signed a block or not, and that's when I had to deactivate the witness so that while solving the issue, it wasn't active and unable to sign blocks. I realized the mistake, restarted the witness to take the changes, which basically involves a change of private signing keys, and waited again with crossed fingers. Thus, it was almost midnight when we signed a block again, although there was still a problem.
You may remember my previous post where I explained the problem we had. I still had to update the witness's price feed, and I was expecting the worst, so I remained calm and did it this morning to think clearly.
Before starting, I reread how it works to avoid doubts and got to work. I won't drag this out, so as you can see in the image, our price feed is also updated. Back to business as usual.

Ayer estaba ya por ir a descansar, cuando me acuerdo de verificar si ya la web de
Abrí mi terminal, entre al servidor y de primeras arranque el servicio de testigo, pues imagine que debía sincronizar con los bloques perdidos durante estos días. Que sí, debía hacer eso, pero no sin antes configurar bien un archivo para que los cambios se reflejaran sin problemas. Es por ese sencillo error de orden, que perdimos un bloque más (vamos por 9). Pero bueno, en lo que sincronizaba con la blockchain, pues se quedó en el bloque 89456554 y debía llegar al 89688000, yo fui configurando lo demás. Cuando sincronizo que demoro unos 40 minutos, firme la validación del testigo para que la blockchain lo tuviera en cuenta y a partir de ahí solo queda esperar.
Estuve otros 40 minutos solo viendo si firmaba un bloque o si dejaba de firmarlo, y fue donde tuve que desactivar el testigo para que en lo que resolvía el problema no estuviera activo sin poder firmar bloques. Me di cuenta del error, reinicie el testigo para que tomara los cambios que básicamente es un cambio de llaves de firma privadas y a esperar nuevamente con los dedos cruzados. Así fue, como ya siendo casi las 12 de la noche, volvimos a firmar un bloque, aunque aún quedaba un problema.
Quizás se acuerden de mi anterior publicación donde les dije cual fue el problema que tuvimos. Aún me quedaba actualizar el price feed del testigo y me esperaba lo peor, así que tome calma y lo hice esta mañana para poder pensar bien.
Antes de empezar, me volví a leer como funciona para no tener dudas y me puse manos a la obra. No les voy a hacer el cuento largo, así que como ven en la imagen, nuestro price feed está actualizado también. Volvemos a las andadas.
