Another disappointing night for Graham Potter and his boys. Elsewhere in the Champions League, Manchester City blew the title race wide open, in an enthralling great day of football around.
CLUB BRUGGE VS BENFICA
Benfica were comfortable winners against a rather unimpressive club Brugge side. A second-half Penalty and a late cushion from David Neres ensured the two goals advantage going into the second leg.
DORTMUND VS CHELSEA
Absolutely disgusting. I feel so enraged with this shambolic performance yet again. Two wins in Fourteen games are just unacceptable. Chelsea had some amazing chances in the first half, but Joao Felix could not convert. He came closest with hitting the crossbar after being picked out by Kai Havertz. Dortmund was on the front foot from the beginning of the game, and they finally broke the deadlock sixty-three minutes in. A quick counter-attack from a corner kick saw Karim Adeyemi 1v1 with Enzo Fernandez, and the youngster with his blistering pace beat him and kept his composure to round Kepa and cooly slot it home. Dortmund go into the second leg with a huge win.
ARSENAL VS MAN CITY
Kevin Debruyne, Erlind Haaland, and Jack Grealish made sure city got all three points in an end-to-end encounter at the emirates. The Premier League is on.
