Hello, thank you🙏 for last time, and greetings to you and your team🙏. here is my entry for hive top-chef hotdogs. It is not my tradition but I sometimes try new things in my own way. when eating I felt it was ok food if made with proper ingredients.
different ways to serve hotdogs.
Making the hotdog buns
2 cups of white flour
1 cup wholemeal flour
1 tbsp sugar
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp dry yeast
2 tbsp cooking oil
1.5 cup warm water.
Mix all dry ingredients using water gradually make dough add oil and keep it covered for half an hour.
After the dough becomes double press it and make small oval-shaped rolls. keep it for 10 minutes. preheat the oven to 200 C and bake these buns for around 20 minutes.
now making the hotdogs with chicken as the base
the ingredients for 6 hotdogs
400 grams minced chicken meat
1 onion
1/2 paprika
2 cloves of garlic
1 tsp salt
1 tsp paprika powder
1 tsp thyme
1/4 tsp black pepper powder
1 tbsp corn starch
1 tbsp white flour
a few leaves of parsley
1 tbsp cooking oil.
Grate onion paprika and garlic, squeeze the juice Now mix minced meat, onion, paprika, garlic, thyme, paprika powder, pepper powder, salt, and chopped parsley leaves.
mix in flour and corn starch, add oil, and form by hand into suitable shapes using a few drops of oil to keep them from sticking to the hands.
cut the aluminum foil and baking paper to size to roll the hotdog nice and round. first wrap with baking paper and then aluminum foil.
boil 2-3 cups of water in a pot and use a steamer to steam the hotdogs I used my stainless strainer and cook for about 15 minutes take out from the steamer and unwrap.
using a mustard paste, tomato ketchup, red chili sauce, deep-fried onion, chopped raw onion, mayonnaise, and cucumber relish. prepare the hotdogs and enjoy.
