Semur-en-Auxois, the Medieval Soul of Burgundy (Part 5 - End)

Strolling through Semur-en-Auxois after nightfall is a real little delight. The monuments, the ramparts, and the town gates take on a completely different look under the lights, almost as if you were seeing them for the first time.
In the center, young people — and those a bit less young, like us 😄 — gather at the café Le Mont Drejet to enjoy a relaxed, warm atmosphere that’s lively without ever feeling overwhelming.

Then comes the moment to head back to our Logis Hostellerie d’Aussois. A good dinner is waiting for us there, the perfect way to wrap up the day before hitting the road again in the early morning.

Se balader à Semur-en-Auxois une fois la nuit tombée, c’est un vrai petit bonheur. Les monuments, les remparts et les portes de la ville prennent une toute autre allure sous les lumières, presque comme si on les découvrait pour la première fois.
En plein centre, les jeunes — et ceux qui le sont un peu moins, dont nous 😄 — se retrouvent au café Le Mont Drejet pour profiter d’une ambiance détendue et chaleureuse, toujours animée sans jamais être oppressante.

Puis vient le moment de regagner notre Logis Hostellerie d’Aussois. Un bon dîner nous y attend, idéal pour clôturer la journée avant de reprendre la route au petit matin.
