Homemade Boba Project 2 - Noodle: タピオカヌードル成功ならず

My city is still not opening up and now we have a countywide curfew so I have really have to be home from 5pm to 5am or something.
I got a text message yesterday but I deleted right away... I am pretty much at home all the time so it doesn't really matter 😂

Anyway, yesterday I tried to make boba noodle instead of boba.
Here are ingredients that I got from Hello Boba Friends.

Passionfruit syrup
Tapioca mix
Boba making instruction
Brown sugar... where did it go?

First mix the tapioca power with a cup?! of room temp water and play with it a little like making a pizza dough or something. Then cute them like these to make noodles.

Put them in the hot water and boil them for 8 minutes.

Once noddles are done, put them in the brown sugar water and marinate for 10 minutes.

I think I had to use a bigger bowl and needed more water and stir noodle constantly, but since I didn't do that they all kind of stuck together and became kind of like sweet booger 😂

It's got this boogery soft chewy texture to it. It was good though.
I think I will add some rose water in there next time so it will have a sweet flower taste.

Put passionfruit syrup in the cup and add some tea. I used Jasmine tea but you can use any tea pretty much.

This is not from Lucky tea!(i just had the cup...) I really made it myself, passionfruit jasmine with boba noodles.

タピオカドリンク屋さんで前にタピオカヌードルがあったので、それを真似してみました。。。が、あんまりうまくいかなかった。
茹でたり、砂糖水に浸してるときにずーっとかき回してないといけなかったみたいなのですが、ぼーっと待ってたら全部引っ付いて鼻水っぽくなってしまった。ホントに笑
でも、甘くてぷよぷよ。普通のタピオカに飽きたらこんなのもいいかも。
多分、タピオカの方が作りやすいかな、手がかからない分だけ。
あと、このパッションフルーツの種がパキパキで、これもなかなかよいです。

次回はカスタードプリンみたいなゼリーみたいなやつを作ろうかと思います。
が、できるまで4時間ぐらいかかるのです。。。
