Bami Ajam
Actually in Nederish this Indo style dish is known as 'natte Bami' {EN: Moist Noodles}. But the judge stated it is not wet enough. And the balance of the ingredients were not right. Not enough (Chinese) cabbage. Yet, as it is right now it was still great comfort food. Not bad for a 'belanda toto', I guess. Made this dish from memory and I did like it myself. Wanted to go for seconds, yet I did the wise thing, stopped after one round.
Next time I'll add more cabbage. And to me it was wet enough though. The Ajam {EN: chicken} was of great taste. Loulou the cat agreed. Used 7 cloves of garlic for the whole meal. So I guess there wont be any vampires round here trying to get some blood. (No virgins here either.)
Worth cooking again sometime.
