我這個月某天晚上到了台北士林附近，時間已經到了晚上八點，我才因為肚子餓想起來我還沒吃晚餐。剛好經過這一間在路邊擺攤的【周旺蒸餃酸辣湯】，看起來很不錯，價錢也很合理，我就在路邊的桌子坐下來，要了一份蒸餃跟一碗酸辣湯，還不到台幣一百元。
One evening this month, I was passed by Shilin MRT in Taipei around 8 PM, and it suddenly hit me that I hadn't had dinner yet due to my growling stomach. As luck would have it, I passed by this roadside stall called "Chou Wang Steamed Dumplings and Hot Sour Soup." It looked pretty good, and the prices were reasonable. I took a seat at one of the tables by the roadside and ordered a plate of dumplings and a bowl of hot sour soup, all for less than a hundred Taiwan dollars (around $3).
餃子還在現場不停地製作中，可見得很新鮮。上桌之後，就是10顆香噴噴的蒸餃，淋上一點醬油，加上一把薑絲，讓我大快朵頤。再加上一碗酸辣湯，也很好喝。也才十來分鐘我就把東西都吃完了，很滿足。
The dumplings were being freshly made right there, and you could tell they were super fresh. There were ten hot dumplings, drizzled with a bit of soy sauce and topped with ginger shreds – a real treat. Alongside that, the hot sour soup was delicious too. In just around ten minutes, I had polished off everything and was feeling totally satisfied.
其實我點餐之後，天空開始飄起雨來，原本幾張擺在路邊的桌子是露天的，老闆連忙搬到騎樓下，才好繼續做生意，還好後來沒有下大雨，生意可以繼續，人生繼續流動~~~ 一切都如此自然，以及美好。
Actually right after I placed my order, it started drizzling rain from the sky. The few tables that were set up by the roadside were open-air, but the owner quickly moved them under the eaves to keep the business going. Luckily, it didn't pour heavily afterward, and they could carry on with their business. Business and life flows naturally and it's beautiful.
比特幣BTM在多年前其實很紅，我當時到歐洲時還碰過好多次，但隨著監管的收緊，慢慢這個業務也式微了，所以當幾個月前我看到台灣還有人在經營這項業務，就覺得很驚訝，就算只能單向的買，也覺得很不錯了。
Bitcoin ATMs used to be quite the thing a few years back – I even bumped into them a lot during my trip in Europe. But with tightening regulations, this business gradually faded away. That's why I was surprised a few months ago to see people still operating this in Taiwan. Even if it's just for buying, I thought it was pretty cool.
因此我走過去，剛好捷運站那一側正在進行一個共構建築的工程，想來以後這裡會變更熱鬧的。看來這間比特幣BTM也會順勢有更多生意吧？
So, I walked there to have a look and there was a construction project underway on the side of the MRT station. It seems this area will become much more busy in the near future. Maybe this Bitcoin ATM will also get more business as a result?
吃完之後，準備到士林捷運站搭捷運回家。突然想起，以前在這裡看過一間比特幣BTM，不如就趁這一次到裡面去瞧瞧是什麼情況。我自己的猜測是，可以拿新台幣紙鈔買比特幣，但是沒辦法賣比特幣得到台幣，因為後者比較敏感。
After finishing my meal, I got ready to head back home by taking the MRT from Shilin MRT Station. It suddenly dawned on me that I had seen a Bitcoin BTM around here before. So, I thought, why not take this chance to see what it's all about? My guess was that you could buy Bitcoin with cash, but maybe not sell Bitcoin for cash, as the latter could be more regulated.
靠近一點看，招牌很漂亮，店門是霧狀的玻璃，看不到裡面，感覺這是不是有違區塊鏈公開透明的原則啊？😆
Getting closer, the sign looked nice, and the storefront had frosted glass, so you couldn't see inside. Is this somehow against the open and transparent principles of blockchain? 😆
咦？門口一紙公告。啊，原來已經暫停營業了，說是配合台灣金管會的法遵制度調整中．．．唉，看來還沒有我想的順利呢．．．不知道要停多久，雖然我是不需要這類服務，只是似乎是個監管的觀測指標。
Wait, there's a notice posted at the entrance. Oh, it's temporarily closed, saying it's undergoing adjustments to comply with Taiwan's Financial Supervisory Commission regulations... Sigh, looks like things aren't going as smoothly as I imagined... I wonder how long it'll be closed. Though personally I don't need this service, but it's kind of a precursor for local regulation status.
周邊的行銷包裝做的質感都還不錯，但業務本身不給進行，那就是沒辦法了。
The marketing around the store looks pretty good, but if the core business isn't operational, then that's that.

Why is it that enjoying steamed dumplings and hot sour soup by the roadside is so carefree and unrestricted, while buying and selling Bitcoin seems to be plagued with all sorts of challenges?
回到捷運站前方，周邊的商業活動興盛熱絡，不知道哪一天，加密貨幣也能跟他們一樣，成為人們生活的日常了呢？期待著．．．
Back at the front of the MRT station, the surrounding business activities are bustling and vibrant. Who knows, maybe one day cryptocurrencies will become as commonplace as these businesses? Looking forward to that...
