“The River of Stars Part 8“
I created this cut paper art, painted this background and translated this story. This scene is a very interesting part of the story. The wolf regurgitated the man for her pups. Regurgitation is a very interesting habit in nature. The Canidae family like wolves or coyotes do regurgitation for their pups to protect food from other animals’ snatching.
For this scene, the old man who was swallowed by the rainbow trout is struggling on the snow inside of the trout’s tummy because the bear dropped it. And then, the wolf carried this trout with man to her pups. Wow... It is very complicated but is a very beautiful life cycle story. Also, I like repetition techniques for children's books. I wanted to express the warm comfortable feeling in the mother's tummy through this cut paper art. We all come from the same process to be born.
Ok... Then, the wolf vomited this trout with the man for pups on the ground. The man felt warm and good in the wolf’s tummy for a while. What is going to happen to the old man? I will post the next scene soon.
“星の川 パート８”
切り絵を作り背景を描いて、翻訳をしました。これは物語の中でも興味深いシーンです。オオカミが自分の子どもたちのために年老いた男を吐き戻しします。吐き戻しは自然界のとても興味深い習慣です。犬科のオオカミやコヨーテは食べ物を自分の子どもに運ぶ時、他の動物にとられないようにまる飲みし運び、それを吐き戻しします。わぁ…。なんだか入り組んだ話ですが、とても美しい生命サイクルの話しです。
ニジマスに飲み込まれ腹の中で苦しんでいる年老いた男、そのニジマスを熊が噛みましたが雪の上に落としてしまいます。男とニジマスは雪の上でのたうちまわり苦しんでいます。今度はそのニジマスをオオカミが子どもに食べさせるためにまるのみします。このような行動の繰り返しの技術を使う絵本がわたしは好きです。切り絵を通じて温かい母親のお腹の中を表現しました。みんなその段階を経てこの世にやってきたのです。
さて、オオカミが子どもたちのために年老いた男がお腹の中にいるニジマスを吐き戻しします。オオカミのお腹の中はつかの間の温かい時間でした。この後年老いた男はどうなるのでしょうか？また続きは近々投稿します。
