Summary Of The Weekend Engagement
The 5th Hive-naija weekend engagement kicked off on friday(Dec 31,2021) and ended on Sunday(Jan 2,2022) 11:59pm (GMT+1). We chatted on hive from 2021-2022. Some people were like;
We had two topics! For two different years! On the 31st we shared our Reflections from the year 2021, On the 1st and second, we shared our Cross over nights experiences. For a busy festive period, we still Raised the flag with our activities.
From 
I bring to you some thoughtful and beautiful reflections from the engagement.
For me the foremost lesson I learnt this year(2021) is : Love everyone, but don't trust everyone.
My name is Destiny Erheriene, will be 23 years old in a few days.
The year 2021 started out pretty normal for me. I had really wonderful experiences; I participated at Nigerian's National Sports Festival, playing chess.
I also was opportuned to undertake my industrial training at a prestigious well servicing company.
This changed alot towards the end of the year as I learned that not everyone that smiles at you has good intentions towards you.
But what doesn't kill you makes you stronger! & despite all the difficulties I was still able to sour through & make it to this day, for that I'm externally grateful.
Looking forward to what the new year brings!

Hello Samuel, my name is Ophelia also known as a box of passion or Khaleesii.
2021 has been a crazy year, at the beginning I went through a series of depressions, and most days I didn't think I would make it.
I spent most of the year unemployed which was sad because I felt very helpless and when I got a job, they refused to pay my salary, and then another one was simply slavery.I came back to hive around September and it has been life-changing, most people don't even understand when I say that.
I got into a relationship and it ended but it was a learning experience for me.
This year I was more intentional about everything and it made a difference in the way I saw life.
I am ending the year in a place where I wasn't at the beginning mentally and in general and I am so glad.
I Wish You A Better 2022!

What a year it has being.
I'm thankful though. Amidst all the turmoil, I've persevered, my family is doing quite okay, my sister is about to do her wedding, my brother just got a better paying job. Sometimes you get distracted by all the mishaps in your life and you completely miss all the little wins and things to enjoy. Hive has being a blessing for me.
In a few month I would be write a post of possibly goodbye, who knows. Y'all know our tradition in the country oh. Go to church and cross over 😅. I pray y'all have a beautiful crossover service.
