(this melody will stick to your brain for life)
For this #openmic's #love week proposed by , and related to last week's theme too because this #cover is from a quartet of which I (palimanali) am proudly part of, we (ukewewe) bring a #song from #Argentina and #Uruguay. There is this band called "The Quartet of Love", and a very sticky #melody by them is "Melon Melocoton".
The Quartet of Love goes out every day to the streets to #sing #serenates and spread love in every corner. Stopping cars trucks and buses making traffic jams, breaking into goverment offices, visiting schools, hospitals and jails, singing to the wind to see little heads come out of high windows to the call of #music.
These quartets (there are many now, in different locations of the world) have played to love every day of the year, and will continue to do so. In Uruguay and Argentina, #Brasil #Paraguay #Colombia #Mexico #USA #Spain #Portugal #England #Italy.
To #celebrate their vibe we sing Melon Melocoton in this #hiveopenmic week 45 and we do it on the street, like they use to do.
We say in the south, when we fall in love we feel mellon and peach inside.
"While dancing we can build a song a home or our nest." 馃崙
