This is how the week began. Cold. It's just getting golder with predictions of snow in the highlying ground. Up to a foot. Or more. That, of course, we shall only see when it's light and the clouds lift. Later today. Perhaps. It's still raining.
Yesterday was all about staying warm. The wind came and then the rain. And more rain. Last night's meat free Monday was an entirely plant-based jambalaya.
Again we had dinner with the President. This time he wasn't talking about Covid-19, but rather about the anarchy that has descended on the country since the incarceration of the recalcitrant and now jailed Jacob Zuma.
This is a tragically and pivotal time in this country. Nkosi sikilele.
