Last night's meatfree Monday meal came out of the jar. Again. I had deliberately planned this because we had been invited for late afternoon, early evening drinks for a gathering of neighbours. There are new arrivals.
Before I get to last night's supper, this is the same salad from three weeks ago and which I said was likely to become a favourite. Then I served it with baked sweet potato. Last night not only did I not have any, but we were a little late.
Back to the drinks evening (which we fled as soon as polite to do so) and although there were, in the hostess's word, nibbles, according to The Husband, that's not supper. The instant solution?
A kettle of boiling water, a cup of couscous and some extra pepperdews chopped into the salad. A little bowl for me. A large one for him.
How is that for fast food?
PS I have a lovehate relationship with my 25-odd year old Arcopal cookware. I love its versatility; I love that it's white and when its next to my ceramics (thank you Paul de Jongh for the pair of bowls), I hate it... In my dreams, I have a set if Le Creuset. I just cannot see what colour. Red, I think...
Until next time, be well

If this post might seem familiar, it's because I'm doing two things:
- re-vamping old recipes. As I do this, I am adding them in a file format that you can download and print. If you download recipes, buy me a coffee. Or better yet, a glass of wine....?
- and "re-capturing" nearly two years' worth of posts.
- From Wordpress, I use the Exxp Wordpress plugin. If this rocks your socks, click here or on on the image below to sign up.
