Some of Friday's happenings. In no particular order, starting with an almost dusk view across the bottom of the garden under a mostly moody sky. Over the bed of shredded lettuces. Clearly, red is not flavour of the month!
Some of Friday's work product: mixed pickle that plays nicely with the newly potted cottage cheese. It will just be ready to go up the mountain on Sunday.
In the process of doing the bread that will go into the oven shortly, a friend delivered this pocket of undersized, not quite export quality and entirely edible butternut. Enough to feed the 5,000 let alone just two! I am planning!
This is the dusk view up and under mama guineafowl's skirts as the family settles in for the night. The brood responsible for decimating the vegetable garden now "guarding" it?
Almost yin to her yang.
Almost cuddle cats.
Or Janus?
A year ago, this was unimaginable.
Until next time, be well

If this post might seem familiar, it's because I'm doing two things:
- re-vamping old recipes. As I do this, I am adding them in a file format that you can download and print. If you download recipes, buy me a coffee. Or better yet, a glass of wine....?
- and "re-capturing" nearly two years' worth of posts.
- From Wordpress, I use the Exxp Wordpress plugin. If this rocks your socks, click here or on on the image below to sign up.
