Normally, my salads have Olive Oil and Vinegar as a dressing, but on this day, I kicked it up a notch and went for Ranch dressing. I had to get serious, once again, as I had started having more carbs for dinner since I make them for my hubby.
That turned out to be what was holding me back from continuing to drop off excess pounds. Now that I'm back on track, I have dropped another 2 lbs this past week. Yay!
I had made a batch of Sauerkraut earlier in the year, so it's been one of my usual sides. Plus, I often add cottage cheese to either lunch or dinner for some extra protein. This night I had barbecue chicken drumsticks with both.
Since I'm caught up on seed starting, I had some extra free time to sit down and put a puzzle together. This one was a bit tricky with the pattern the same throughout, but I got it done. I started another one this week that is a 3D image of an eagle flying through a winter landscape. That one looks very difficult and quite beautiful. I may just frame it when I finish it.
I couldn't resist buying a small bunch of flowers while shopping, and they look so spring-like, brightening up the kitchen table. Yesterday, we had 60°F temperatures and then rain. This morning, there is 3" of snow with 30mph wind gusts, making it 9°F with the wind chill. I don't know what kind of weather your neck of the woods is having, but ours is like a major roller coaster ride. Absolutely bizarre.

This has been a crazy week weather-wise, but it was nice to enjoy a couple of warm days sitting on the back porch. Well, perhaps by the weekend, lol.
