I have a few books here waiting to be read. I bought them last year and I honestly have not had time to start reading. There is nothing like a good book just to switch off my mind while being unplugged for a while.

Indeed. A good fantasy book is like a teleport to another world.

My life revolves around the internet so it might be a good thing just to switch off the computer and television and use my time more wisely.

Do you have a shortwave radio? Sometimes I make two-way radioamateur contacts, but nowadays I mostly listen to the conversations of others. It can be both relaxing, entertaining, and also useful, helpful, depending on the conversations. And sometimes I listen to broadcast stations too.

I hope you all have a very happy festive season and that you too have the opportunity to just relax and be unplugged for a few days. Unplugging will give you a chance to reflect and relax and just to catch up with actual living people.

I do. In addition to talking on and listening on the radio, I am spending time mostly with my brother. Sometimes we listen to the radio together.
