The Nightingale has one of the most beautiful sounds in the bird world and I am always happy when I am able to hear the beautiful songs of this bird in the wild. Unfortunately the bird is not so easy to find and not always when I find it I have something with me to record the beautiful songs of this tiny bird. But this time I had my camera as well as my smartphone with me for some recordings and I am glad that I could take, several pictures, a video and some audio recordings of this bird. In terms of color the Nightingale is not that beautiful but whenever I hear the sound of it I melt away in love.
I Managed to get some pictures and the video as well as the Audio Recording of the bird at Lake Balaton in Hungary, more precise at the Kis Balaton. Make sure to check out the Video and the Soundcloud for this beautiful singer. It is a migratory insectivorous species breeding in forest and scrub in Europe and the Palearctic, and wintering in Africa. Common nightingales are so named because they frequently sing at night as well as during the day.
