Hi, it's interesting how someone else sees the world. It really is a beautiful bird; it's very common here and they call it a Killer because of its call. Its eye ring indicates that it's raising chicks, perhaps two or three, which are very well camouflaged among the sand, rocks, and vegetation. Although it's common, I agree with you that it's quite a sight with its plumage, and the plant is a real feast when it turns yellow and red at the end of the season.
